Hungry snake + human hand

CARattler40

got good knees?
= a few of pictures taken by said human.

After feeding her, I was trying to get some pictures of my amber when I realized it'd be better if I put the camera on macro before doing so. I'm fumbling with the camera while trying to keep the snake in place when suddenly I feel what can only be described as slimy velcro easing its way up my middle finger. Anyway, here's Copálli's attempt at eating me. She got about halfway down my nail before I managed to pull her off. :grin01:

Photoshopped a little just so it's not overwhelmingly bright:

good job carlos..............you still got some pretty good pics of your amber anyway. obviously you either didn't feed her enough, or took the dreadful "forgot to wash the hands" routine. :grin01:

That is priceless! That is what should be shown to the people who think all snakes are going to eat humans. Um, yeah, it can eat my FINGER!

The news headline..."YOUTH DEAD IN SNAKE ATTACK"

The story...Carlos, a 16 yr old Texas youth, was found dead yesterday after being attacked by a cornsnake. The vicious snake was found at the scene, still attempting to swallow it's fresh kill. Amazingly, Carlos was able to photograph the attack before dying. The coroner's report states the cause of death to be hysteria. In other words, Carlos died laughing.

maybi corns have an ego problem.. they think that they're the size of a house.
sounds suprisingly similar to a few kids i knew in school....

i always wondered- if you get struck by a feeding bite, how hard is it to get your corn off?
do you have to do anything special to make sure you don't ... i don't know break their teeth or anything?
