Well this popped out last night from my hypo plasma stripe project. Both head seem to be very independent and both are just fine so far. But time will tell.

just remember to feed both heads and separate the two visually while they eat, or they could fight! :) lots of good vids on youtube of feeding 2 headed snakes

3 feeds, is that feeding each 3x? or feeding just one?

Don't really know how the 2 headed thing works... do both need to eat? Or is just feeding one enough to keep it healthy?

I'd love to see a feeding video. We've watched some on Youtube where both heads ate small prey at the same time, and it's neat to see.

I also love his name. I'm teaching a National Mythology Exam prep class here later today, and the kids would LOVE a real-life Hydra!

Cool video! It's nice to see so many successful bicephalic snakes this year. I still don't think I'd want to hatch one, but Hydra looks great! I wonder what they think...
