Hypo pewter eggs

My first clutch of the season has arrived. She laid one egg in the early A.M. on the 23rd, it appears fertile, but it took her until last night to lay the rest. 11 eggs in all, I can't wait until pipping time!

Pairing: Crimson x Hypo Pewter

Are you sure that's a hypo pewter she sure looks a lot darker than mine. Congrats on the eggs.
I guess you'll know when the eggs hatch, good luck now is the hardest part, the waiting.

I think it's just a Hypo X Pewter pairing. Not a hypo pewter. I could be wrong, though. ;) LOL

I bought her from Frank Pinello when he sold his collection in '05, I lived close enough to drive down and check out his awesome collection too. Her and her sister stuck out from all their pewter clutch mates and she retained an hypo appearance until she was little more than a year old. This is a test breeding to prove her hypo as I have had my doubts lately. I will say franks bloodred lines were really dark, give his name a search on here he had a really weird bloodred pop up in his lines and I know he kept her and some others.

Please make sure and let us know (with pics) how this breeding comes out and I'll give him a search.
Thanks

Just a quick update: 2 pippies tonight both hypo, 6 more left to start poking their noses out. I will post pics once they are all out.

UPDATE

Here is a quick pic I snapped this morning with 2 more noses sticking out. 4 Hypo's with 5 eggs left to pip.

Here's a pic of them all after they finally decided to leave their eggs. 9 Hypos out of 9 good eggs I am really pleased with the results. Most of them tend to have thick borders I am guessing from Mom's side since dad has next to none.

I think I am going to throw some sunkissed and or Cinder/Ashy into the mix in the next year or two. I will also hold back a pair to breed later on and use a hold back male with the hypo pewter since that is the quickest way to hypo pewters for me right now.
