Just got attacked by bloody chavs... Again.
What is their problem, there I am just ggoing around, doing my paper round, and one of them grabs me by the shirt, searches my pockets, and nick a paper, all the while shouting stuff like, "what the **** you got for me, eh?",
"Gimme this or I'll **** you up",
"Tell anyone bout this and I'll **** you up",
"I'll track you down, I know where you live"

I mean, what did I do to them?

Sorry for that guys (and girls), I'm just really pissed off...
 
Their problem? Their problem is that they think they're the toughest thing on the block and show off to their friends. :) Funny how chavs always move in packs :rolleyes:

The important thing is, how did you react to them? While you should be careful of course not to get yourself in to a fight you can't win, don't make the mistake of being too placid. That's when they think you're an easy target and will try it on again.
 
Ok, I'm probably going to show my ignorance here, but we don't have people who assault paper boys....but what exactly is a "chav"?

And I agree, if you were assaulted and robbed, you need to call the police on this one. If you let them get away with this now, it'll be murder or worse in a few years.
 
This is my own opinion, and will probably hear alot of flak about it, but what would you expect in a country that has outlawed the private ownership of firearms? And it will only get worse as the only people with firearms over there are the bad guys and they really love unarmed victims!

I really don't mean to sound harsh, and I am truly sorry that you had some problems. I was unfortunately watching the news and things just carried over.

Sorry to hear about that. I hate bullies. I hate chavs! I agree, you should report them to the police, it's not on being treated like that!

I think it's sad there are so many horrible kids about these days, but hell lay a finger on them and you're up for assault!

Kids can get away with it and they know it. Bring back the days when kids wouldn't do stuff like that cos they knew the local bobby could give 'em a good clip round the ear!

Tried that last time... police came round at 11pm, left at 1:30am.
And what happened? Nothing.
I have told my parents, and my employer, I'll let them decide what to do, but personally I cannot be bothered with the hassle again.

I think this is the same bloke who got me and my mate after school a while back. I reckon I could take one, maybe two of them, as I am a good ft taller than that guy, but, If this is the bloke I think it is, he has connections; aka, 5 big brothers as nasty as he is, so I'm not about to get into a brawl with him.
I did what they wanted, but not without complaining...

I agree, you should report it to the police. Even if they did not do anything last time, at least it is on record. If they ever catch the person, it will help to put them away.

I have been taking karate for about 2-1/2 years now and my instructor started because he got beat up by a gang when he was 11 years old. Maybe look into taking a karate class.

There are a lot of chavs around here, but they tend not to bother me too much.
 
I used to have chavs and gypsies try to start on me in a skate park.They always had there knifes out before they come over though.
 
Ah chavs, how much fun have I had with them over the last 4 months.
2 death threats, countless confrontations.
Best one was waiting for a mate of mine for band practice and this guy who wanted to see me dead came with no less than 10 of his mates to confront me, 11 on 1, hardly fair, 2 of my mates turned up and they scarpered, 11 on 3, surely no competition but nope they ran, "saying innit with every step they took" lol :grin01:
anyone fancy starting a petition to send to the government to have all chavs castrated and then locked up or shipped to mars? :sidestep:

Don't even mention them :grin01:. They're like bloody ants, annoying, small, insignificant, liked by no other species, and goddamn everywhere! But frankly if you ask them to spell the word 'Chav' they'll be standing there for a few hours trying to remember...not the sharpest tools in the shed.

And I say report them again. And if nothing is done, call in and ask why the hell they're still sitting doing nothing about it. If someone gets attacked and the police don't do anything...well, it's not a good omen is it?
