So, my mom was coming home picking up some drinks for us and glancing about, wondering when to spray pesticides again. She saw something flinch out of the corner of her eye. She could tell it was a cornsnake immediately. It had to be a pet, because corns aren't found around here, and it was probably ours considering we were the only owners for at least 40 miles. Her first thought was,
"How did Xia get out?"
She heard some rattling and hissing and lunged for the snake with her hands. Either way, she was going to catch it. Upon bringing it in... it wasn't Xia! It was Worm, the now 10 month old normal cornsnake who had gone missing at three months! Of course, both of us freaked out and gave him a quick bath and set up a quarantine tank on the bottom floor (the others are on the top floor of the house) He has doubled in length, and looks just as healthy as Xia did at that age! He's curled up and slightly confused, but I am grinning from ear to ear!
I plan to feed him a hopper in two weeks... and take some shots at that time.
