I've been wanting a corn snake of my very own (the two we have technically belong to my husband and my son), and today I got one!!! This girl is an adult anery, about 4 feet. She is such a nice girl, and I'm so excited to have her! Her new name is Pandora. ;)

Is she getting ready to shed? Or is that just the way the light reflected of her eyes in the first shot?

Anyway, congrats! Beautiful new girl.

I'd put two dollars down that she's due to shed soon. It's not just the eyes either. It's the sepia-like tone to the colors that first caught my eye. :)

Gorgeous snake. I'm also partial the blacks and grays.

I see what you mean in her eyes. Also, if you look at the saddle that the flash is reflecting most from, it looks a bit dull, too.

So that means in a week or so we should be seeing vibrant freshly shed pics!

Thanks for your comments, everyone! Her eyes definitely don't look that blue in real life, I think that was just the light reflecting. I wouldn't be surprised if she did shed soon though.
