I didn't even know

that she was going to shed...
I fed Calluu on Thursday with no problems, she was a bit slower to eat by maybe a fraction of a second. Meaning the pinky actually hit the floor first instead of being yanked out of the tongs.

I left her alone for about 48h then when I went to check on her last night while changing her water I saw it. A complete shed in her hide, right in the middle.
But what gets me is that I didn't even see her turn blue, with the exception of those 48 after she feeds, I take her out daily.

This is her first shed and she looks gorgeous and brighter than before. But the shed is kind of balled up and I can't untangle it so I might have to wait for the next one to save it.

I'm excited but I think Lee is more excited, he wants to frame this one and is trying to untangle it without breaking it...Not working.

Babies are like that sometimes. I have fed young ones and come back to check on them and they are shedding. Never saw cloudy eyes.

My baby has shed for me once so far & the only thing that tipped me off she was gonna shed was that she hid for a good week when she'd usually be out & about being active. I'm wondering if she's in blue again now, it's hard to see colour change with her being amel. Fed her on Saturday am so I'll get her out tomorrow & have a lil look at her eyes if I can. She pooped in her last shed so I hope this time she doesn't so I can keep it. We'll wait & see.
