I found him =]

About 2 weeks ago my snake somehow managed to escape his cage travel all the way downstairs and make it into the backyard and wrap himself around a hose without being seen by my two cats.

I finally found him today and I must say he is extremely pissed off. The hose was wrapped up around like a little roller thingy and he got a few bites on me as I was trying to get him out of it, as soon as I put him back in his cage he went into the "Stay the hell away from me" position.

My question:
How long should I wait until I feed him?

Did you happen to notice if he had any lumps to indicate he fed himself during his adventure?

No he didn't.
He just looked extremely pissed and there's a rough spot on his lower body like where he didn't shed completely almost.

I'm not gonna really worry about the spot until he settles though.

From the pics, it looks more like a scrape to me.

I would recommend replacing your substrate with paper towels and putting Neosporin, or another antibiotic lotion, on the spot.

Then I would feed him in the next day or two.

Ok man thanks for the help I appreciate it.

He's already on newspaper also :)
