I Got Balls! (Pythons that is)

R.W.

Call me Richard
Sorry, I hope that isn't considered too immature of me.

I finally have time to post some pics of my two new BPs and their rack.

The first is a big 2 1/2 year old female that weighs around 4 lbs. I got her from the owner of River City Exotics here in San Antonio. He hatched and raised her himself from one of his past breedings. I picked her up on May 24th and then had to go back to get the male in the next few picks. I saw and new I had to have him. The owner didn't hatch him though, he's actually an african import, but the owner raised him for two years and the little guy has a clean bill of health. Both have been eating great for him, and I hope they will do the same for. They both seemed pretty stressed from the move, so I decided to just wait and try feeding them this weekend.

Pics are as follows: Rack, female's tub, female, male's tub, male.

Welcome to the dark side!!! They are very nice!

As Dean said, when anyone who buys a ball python, a baby cornsnake dies...

:laugh01:

Very cool looking ball pythons!! I must say though I LOVE the male way more then the female..I dunno..His pattern just really appeals to me :0)

Thats exactly why I had to go back for him, the pattern. Not only is his coloration nice, but look at the striping! I love just having him, but even though they don't sell so much, I figured I could try using him to produce some nice looking normals. Now I just need to find a really cool looking female.

The females name is Lucille(get it? my mom is a big I Love Lucy fan) and the males name is Lenny. So as far as snakes go, I have: Lola, Larry, Lucille, and Lenny.

Ball Pythons were my very first snakes until my mom got a little tooo freaked out so we, as a family, decided to return him... I DO MISS HIM!!! nice collection!
