This is my '97 female snow, Holly, being "romanced" by Smaug, an '02 pewter. She's usually picky about smaller males, but I guess Smaug impressed her. Does anyone have any info about fertility (or lack thereof) in smaller males? This is a side project so I won't be too disappointed if not much comes of it, but this is my only pair to mate so far this year. Those other guys need to get their acts together!

In 2000 I accidently got eggs from a 18 months old female. The father was only 6 months old. I got 7 fertile eggs which all hatched.

But you will get interesting offspring. Het Anery A, het Anery B, het Bloodred, het Amel.. LOL

It is good to know the little guys can have decent fertility.

Yeah the F2s are going to give me nightmares, but I always love to get a "variety pack" when the eggs hatch!

What he doesn't have in size, he makes up for in beauty.

I guess she makes exceptions for pretty boys.
