Sorry, I'm sure by now most of you are tired of people asking what they have. But I am looking into buying a corn snake from an individual in my area and was told it was a snow corn. But from the pics, I'm thinking it's not a snow. So I ask those who know alot more than me for some help. Sorry for the bad photos, this is all I was sent.

I was told it is a 6 year old male and was part of their kids 4H project and now the kids are going to college and can't keep them. I'd be getting a 40 gallon tank with UTH, water dish, decor and snake for $100. So what do you all think? Good deal?

Thanks so much for looking!

could be a normal too, but yeah i see the possibility for amel.

Any chance on a clearer pic?

and yeah not a bad deal.

Normal corn-$20-$30 as a hatchling
Amel-$25-$65 as a hatchling
40 Gallon cage - easily $150 used
UTH for a $40Gal- $25-$35

its a great deal! especially a breedable male that looks healthy in the pic

Thanks for the quick replies! I just sent another email to the person asking a couple more questions. I hope to have a chance to look at him this week. I work evenings so that might be a problem. But I'll try and get better pics of him and post them.

I also thought it was a good deal since that's how much I spent on my 40 gallon alone. :)

Thanks again!

Actually that snake has an unusual lateral pattern to it, and the dorsal blotches are VERY high, not extending down the sides very much. Can you give us better shots on a table? Also pics of the abdomen would help.

Well I haven't gotten a reply back from my last email I sent so I'm not sure when I'll be able to get better pics. Hopefully this week. But if I do get him, I'll definitely post more pics. I'll make sure I take my camera with me when I get the chance to see him in person.

As for where I live in Missouri, it's in the Kansas City area. :)

Thanks!

April
