I have 2 seperate questions about mice.

First of all, I had a litter of 10 mice born on June 29th, I was wondering when I should separate them from the parents? From what I have seen they are drinking from the bottles on their own. :eats02:

Second, It's time for me to order frozen mice in bulk again. I have 3 baby corns approximate weights - 60g, 50g, 20g. I need food for the two larger ones. I was wondering what size I should get from TMF? According to the Munson plan I should be feeding them weanlings...But, I am having a hard time imagining my two corns chowing down on a weanling. :nope: Right now, they are finishing up on peach fuzzies from RodentPro and they leave a decent size bulge in their bellies. I want these ones to last, so would 150 hoppers and 100 weanlings be a good option? I also have 2 milksnakes that would eat them also.

Thank You. :D

My 50ish gram snakes are on 8 g fuzzies. Simbi is about 120 now and is getting smaller hoppers. TMF can really vary in size depending on when they pulled mice. The last batch of fuzzies were HUGE. Nothing smaller then 6 grams (and only a few of those) and one was a whopping 12g. That was out of 100 mice.

Best thing to do is look at the chart and then call and talk to Edna about what sizes you need to order. Last time I called I needed adults, but all they had were very large retired adults.

Not sure on what size mice to order but as for your mice, I seperate my mice at 3-4 weeks when you see them eating and drinking, it is also best to sep the boys and girls otherwise you may end up with babies when they are way to young.
