I have finally managed to tame my other half!

Buzz-Buzz Ziggety-Zag
He finally "held" them instead of the odd touch and I have photos to prove it...

The one with Hotei was really funny because he had his head on Simon's hand and seemed to be following the movement of the mouse on the computer screen.
The one with Freya, he was telling her off for always trying to go up his sleeve :grin01:

I really wanted to share this with you as it is a HUGE step forward for me.... hmm, I wonder, could I make him say yes to another pet?? :devil01:

I don't know, he looks as though he certainly isn't being bothered by them at all.Look at his face! Doesn't look like some one who is totally bothered by them. Now put me with a mouse in the same situation and you'd see the difference!!!!!!!.......lol

:) I'm not sure if he's actually enjoying it!
nah, he is fine. With Hotei he was just at the end of a small laugh and with Freya it was when he was just pulling a face at her like "are you listening to me??"
That was funny and he didn't say that he didn't want to hold them.
It started when I told him they were cold/fresh and brought Hotei towards him and he touched him and then he just put his hand flat for him to go on it and Bob's your uncle!

LOL..........I know, I' DEATHLY afraid of mice and rats. case in point, I had my girls thaw a small rat for our Tiaga. I had asked rachel if it was indeed thawed. She picked it up and tried having me feel it.........LOL, I jumped back and said " ARE YOU KIDDING"?
Tiaga ate the rat so I GUESS it was warm enough.......LOL

hehe, "fly on the wall" wish moment ;)

That's great! As to another pet, bring home a snake and when he asks you about it, make an innocent face and go, "What? I thought you liked them now - I've even got evidence!"

YAY for you girl! You did it!!!!! I knew you secretly would want another.... maybe this summer one of my self bred baby corns will move to your house ;)

So happy for you! I know he was really stubborn in ignoring them....

err, then I will be in the dog house like, for ever! Nah, I need to discuss/persuade him before bringing an animal in the house ;)

I don't know if it will be a snake though. I think that 2 is a good number for me and I would feel that I would not be able to give them the attention they deserve. I just need to have long hard think about it, as they say "a snake is not only for x-mas" but I want to keep my options open, well, if you have some Zedd and Kalan's little ones, you might make me make my mind up ;) :grin01:

By the way, Hotei looks BIG and really yellow.... next time at your place I NEED to see him!
Didn't I tell you he was doing really well... hu hu!?
At the moment he is not eating both food item but only one but I think he is in want of a snake lady like, err, dunno, the one next to him... lol

Or next to Simon he looks bigger :sidestep:

How much does Freya weigh now and how long is she? Maybe you can give in to Hotei and breed your own 3rd pet :crazy02:

What other pet would you like then?

Barbara! hehe, just compare how big Freya looks in his hand ;)
Hotei is catching up with her but does not look as bulky as Freya does.
I need to measure / weigh them on the same day to compare but lengthwise, they are pretty close I think.
I still see them as pets and not breeding material so I won't give in to Hotei's urges.
Don't know about another pet yet but not a 3rd cat, that is for sure, enough litter cleaning duties as it is :puke01:

Aw, breeding material sounds just too harsh.... I'd call my snakes meant for breeding; 'pets with purposes' :grin01:

I would get another and tell him, "Look what I got you! Now you have your own to hold, since you seemed to like mine last time..." :D

LOL..... I thought of that but he is more of a dog person than snake but thanks for the idea ;)

This is really weird (in a good way), he actually sat with me to watch a program on snakes and said he was mildly interested....hmm, could he really be coming around more than I hoped he ever would??
YAY!
