I have one more for you master's out there.

Is this a coral snow or what? If so what will happen if I breed him to a regular snow?

Thanks for your help,

Coral Snow indicates that your snake would be HypoA and Snow. It can be difficult to visually see the HypoA affect in a snow and/or amel snake, though they do tend to have more pink . . . but I'm sure there are exceptions as always! The usual applies . . . breeding trials will tell you for sure . . .

Breeding a snow to a potential coral snow will give you snows. If you wanted to test for the Hypo, you'd probably want to breed her (? from your sig?) to a ghost not het for amel or a hypo not het snow.

He may be, he may not be. You can't tell by looking at them. "Coral" can be used in two ways. I have seen it used to label a line of Hypo Snows that take on a Coral color. In this case I doubt yours is this type of Coral Snow since they are usually much more "Coral" in color than yours.
I have also seen the term apply to any Snow that is also Homo for Hypo, regardless of how does or doesn't color up. Some Hypo Snows are Pink, some are not. Some Pink Snows are Hypo, some are not. The only way to know for sure is to either 1) Find out that both his parents are homo Hypo or 2) Breed him to anything that is Hypo but not homo for Amel. If he is a Hypo (or "Coral") Snow, he will produce 100% Hypos when crossed with another Hypo. That is of course assuming we are working with Hypo A. :sidestep:

I'm personally going to say just a snow. The coloration of the snake in the photo is rather typical.

I am inclined to agree. My male Snow looks exactly like that animal. Very pretty by the way.

The look of the snake does not scream coral snow to me. Of course, it is impossible to tell by looks alone, as many anerys tend to gain pink tones, regardless of whether the hypo gene is present or not. I have a snow that I believe MIGHT be a coral snow. The pink coloration on him is a lot more pronounced, and the saddles have a slight green outline to them. I'm working on finding out if he really is a hypo or not.
