I was too surprised to get pics, but Vastra, my yearling vanishing anery stripe, just used my hand to hold her mouse while she ate! Literally picked it up, plunked it into my palm and started swallowing! Never had anything like that happen before, lol.
 
It was adorable, lol, although a little gross too, I don't USUALLY hold dead mice in my bare hands, lol. She also used my arm to crawl up and push the mouse down her throat after she swallowed it, lol.

In addition, Trillian, who has refused to constrict her mice for the last 3 years, suddenly decided to constrict her mouse last night, along with my feeding tongs, lol. Took quite a while to get them away from her so I could feed the rest of my snakes! It was an interesting feeding night, lol.

That's quite funny. My month old amel doesn't constrict whatsoever. In fact, he doesn't even strike. He just stares at me like "come on, put it a littttlle closer". It's not till I touch it to his nose that he slowly starts to open his mouth and eat. Laziest snake ever.

None of my snakes constricted until they were on at least fuzzies, so your guy might start yet. :)
 
that is too funny! And now I don't feel so alone. The last two times mine wouldn't take the pink from the tongs, only my hand. And then proceeded to use me as a brace to get it down.

And Haight, mine doesn't strike either. She just comes up, kisses the pink and then finally bites it. Spoiled little hatchlings for us!
