I recently purchased a new corn snake. He is beautiful and everything i could have asked for =]. So im just trying to get a feel for when to start handling him and how he can used to me while he is a baby. Im scared of the bite but ive heard it hardly even hurts. I just think the quickness scares me haha. But i would greatly appreciate some advice on how to get Bonham used to me. Thank you guys!:wavey:

Hi and welcome to the forum. If you have just got him then leave him for a week to let him settle in before handling. Dont worry about being bitten at that age you wont even feel it, even when they are adults it hardly hurts, just the shock factor. If you have an old t shirt you can cut a piece of that of and put it in the rub, that way he will get used to your smell, and if he is anything like mine, will probably spend most of his time hiding under it. Hope that helps a bit. Btw nice snakey.
