I know this is a corn snake forum but...

Ok so the deal is i have a corn snake in my bedroom. I am thinking about buying a king snake, would it be ok to keep them in the same room. In separate tanks of corse!
It wont scare my corn will it or make the king super agressave? :shrugs:

No, it won't hurt a thing. All 7 of my snakes are in the same room, and my king isn't aggressive nor are my corns fearful.

I currently have all six of my snakes on the same wall, two vivs per shelf, I have five corns and one king. I've never seen any evidence that any one of the snakes is aware of the others, even though they are housed in glass vivs, side by side.

I've always assumed that snakes operate more on sense of smell than sight. I make sure that I was my hands thouroughly before handling any of the snakes and I always make sure that any temporary container is freshly washed.

Bottom line, all of my corns are calm and easy to handle, but despite my precautions, my king exhibits stereotypical king attitude...playing rattlesnake whenever I open his viv and slinging poo everywhere when I pick him up. He hasn't bitten me...yet. But he's an albino california king with an aberrant pattern, in those colors we would kill to get in a corn. So we'll keep PePE (Purple People Eater) a little longer and hope his attitude improves.

I have 15 Corns and 1 King in the same room - he's topmost in a tower of three vivs, with the lower two containing Corns. They've lived that way without any apparent problems for years.

Nobody told my King he's supposed to be flighty - he's more laid back than a couple of my Corns! Guess I got lucky.
