I just picked up 1.1 motley sunglowes about 3 weeks ago. Hubby called me at work on Friday and one of them was belly up. Not sure yet if it was my male or female, but I am pretty bummed out. S/He had just eaten about 3 days before and was doing fine. I hate it when stuff like this happens. Well thanks for listening, had to whine to someone.

I know how you feel >>

3 yrs ago my other half [Don] bought me 1.1 motley sunglows I have raised them for the last 3 yrs no problems both eat like pigs. Well the other day I went to feed and the male didnt take his food so I furth looked into the matter and he was dead... but hadnt been for long... I have watered 2 days ago and he was fine. Weird that it was also a sunglow motley you lost.

My beautiful boy.

Im very sorry for your lose... but your not alone :(

Sorry to hear about your loss- If you have only had the snakes 3 weeks it might be worthwhile to contact whoever you got them from, and see if they could replace the snake.

I hate when that happens.. I really do, I lost one little ghost male this year like that and right now I am crossing my fingers on the Butter I got at Anahiem..

Regards..

Condolences

I am sorry for your loss but you are not alone. I purchased 5 corns from a breeder and every single one of them had regurgitation problems. I was able to save 1 but 4 died. It might be worth it to check with the breeder to see if he/she might replace it.

Bummer. Sorry to hear about that

Unfortunatly it happens. I lost several when I first started~ but havn't lost one in three years now (since we moved~ I think my initial problems were environmental). Until yesterday. A little amel stripe that was a problem feeder (only ever took pinky heads) was dead at last nights cleanings. Took me for a suprise. I knew she was trouble~ but I didn't think she was that far gone.

I agree with what others have said. If you've only had her for three weeks POLITELY write and tell the breeder. You probably won't get a replacement this late~ but you may get a discount on a future purchase (if your polite in your e-mail).

Sorry to hear about your loss.
