Ok so here is why I might be stupid. My 2 female mice had litters a week and a half ago. Over the weekend I was going to sex them and kill off excess males. So I got them out and looked for nipples and I could not see any. I guess it is possible that out of 13 babies none were female but I think it is highly unlikely. Also I have rats that are about 6-7 weeks old and I can not sex them either. Please someone tell me a different easier way to sex them that even my stupid butt can do. Thanks!
 
On the mice, by 2 wks you should be able to see the nipples on fuzzies.

As for the rats, by 6-7 weeks the male's parts are a bit hard to miss.
 
That is what I thought about the rats too but I can not see a difference. I got them about 2 weeks ago from a lady that said they were about 4 weeks. I have the mother also who is considerably larger obviously. So at least I know one female with the rats.
