I need a care sheet

I _love_ this program/app. You can use the web-based site for free, forever. For the paid .99 app, you get unlimited QR code scans. If you get the $24 (I think) version, you get more features. That may eventually be something you;d like. Finally, for the pro version, you get to edit some things, and create your own categories. I'm trying that right now for $3/month, or something.

So- you make QR codes for your snakes, and then you can scan them and enter activities on your smart phone. Otherwise, the full program is always available on any computer you sign in on. I use both. I scan QR codes for all feedings, sheds, matings, etc.

The one thing it doesn't do yet is allow transfer of an animal and its records from one owner to another, but they say they are working on it.

They have a Facebook page, but aren't native English speakers.

You can always make your own! It can be a hassle, but if you take the time (and don't want to spend money) it is worth it. I personally just keep little logs for each of my snakes. I only have two, so I write a little sentence every time they eat, go into blue, shed, or do something 'odd'.

Best of luck!

You could very easily just record this information in an Excel spreadsheet, or as log entries in a journal.

The program that Nanci suggested looks amazing but I think that it would be most efficient for owners with many snakes, rather than just a few.

I use iHerp.com I can batch feed (helpful with several animals), set up your animals in different groups, track feeding, sheds, cage cleaning, etc. You can link lineage, set up breeding projects, transfer animals to new owners, blog, ask/answer questions, see other peoples animals, it also has a printable worksheet, a free classifieds....and it's FREE!!

(I keep little feeding notebooks, too- not sure why- I guess I just like the physical act of record keeping).

I have an Excel spreadsheet of all my snakes with current weights, and prey size. I print it up and check everyone to see if anyone is in blue (I cross off so not to feed), then I pull out rodents to thaw, then feed.

I second iherp. What I do is monthly back up that data by copying/pasting it into an excel sheet on my laptop that i created with tabs for each snake. That way just in case something ever happened to the site or there was data loss or something I have it in another secure place. I am a stickler for backing up records and data. Plus, then if I ever need to I can take that to the vet or print out records directly from there for whatever purpose needed.
