If he's definitely a male, he is probably on the spring hunger strike that a lot of males do at this time of year, when all they've got on their mind is love :)

If his living conditions haven't changed and temps etc are ok, then it's probably nothing to worry about. Do a search of the forum for the words "spring hunger strike" and you should find many posts by other members about it.

Hope that helps,

Agreed. Two and a half weeks is pretty normal for a mating season hunger strike. One of mine goes for a couple of months (but perhaps he's particularly keen!).

As long as he's otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry.

So if he's springtime hunger striking, this _can_ go on for several months. I offer food on a weekly basis. If the snake refuses, I skip the next week and offer two weeks later. One of my snakes has only eaten twice since January. It's his second year of this, though, so I am not worried about him.

ok and yea all his temp and everything in cage is the same i got him a bigger cage a few months ago but he has eatin fine in it hes got 2 trees and plenty of hiding spots so i guess hel just be fine he just needs a girl snake then :spinner:

Corn snakes are odd animals. I used to worry about every refused meal, but not anymore. I just had an unbrumated juvie '06 female eat her first meal in 1.5 months. She never really lost any weight, so I didn't worry much. Sometimes they seem to respond to a change of scene. I bumped her to a bigger tub, gave her a LARGER than usual meal, and changed her rack position. I don't know it that's what made the difference, but she started eating. :shrugs:
