i would put fish in my aquarium.;)
you don't call tanks for reptiles terrarium in the u.s.?:confused:
aqua=water
terra=earth
i don't want to be a smart-ass but this is a real question.
greetings from the other side of the atlantic.

well

Yes, we do call them terrariums for earth based tanks,

but since most people view any glass "enclosure" as a tank, most call them aqaurium. But my common name for them everyday would be the snakes "enclosure"

Everthing on the checklist is good, and a tree branch is a great place for your snake to exersize. Boil it in water first or use a safe for snake cleaner to kill mites. Good luck.:)

the name is bond,....

DON'T FORGET!!!

a locking lid

this is very very important as corns are 007's at escaping, and be sure it locks, or has lots of wieght on it...

good luck and post pics when you get them : )

a thermometer wouldn't go a miss.. one each end.. the warm and cool end.... even if you have the heat mat on a thermostat.. doesn't hurt...

2 hides.. one cool end the other at the other... some magazines wouldn't go a miss... and even better would be a view of the TV..

so if Aqua=water
Terra=mud
whats a vivarium hold..??

Life - from latin vivus = living, alive
That was my guess - looked it up to confirm (and get the latin)

Actually it doesnt. I took Latin for two years and i believe that vivarium comes from the latin word virrum which means to see. but i could be wrong.

I don't think I saw it, but for a baby corn, if the enclosure is larger then a few small hides would be fabulous.

vivarium

a vivarium could be a place where you hold your girafs or tigers.
Life - from latin vivus
it could be anything
