Help! I've followed all of the step busters from cremation to first shed. My males either ignore the females or actively hide. I always introduce the male to the female's Vic. Plenty of heat and a nice gradient. The sexing is accurate. But I' very never seen any pair lock up, like in the many pictures. What might I be doing wrong? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

I had the same problem last year (2014) and only had 4/8 females lay fertile eggs. The I read and followed what Nanci said, at the beginning of this season it seem like nothing was going to happen then along the early/middle of March females started to shed and then they started breeding like she said they would. I have witnessed every breeding because I did just like she said timer and all. It worked so well I had to put off the the last 1/3 so I don't hatch then all the same day. This year I am at 9/14 with witnessing 3 or more copulation per pair. Hope it helps you as much as it did for me.

Thanks Jememe,

I'm going to follow Nanci's plan then too. It's really starting to despair. It's nice to get some practical help here. And so promptly. I've never been able to find Nanci's up to date page. Not as computer literate as I'd like. If things work out for my little brood I'll post them online

Best of luck with your new season
