hey just a note to let you guys now that Tarquinn(quinn) who had gone missing in september has finally showed up. we found him in my basement resting on some firewood stacked next to the wood stove.He seems fine eccept for one bad shed and being a bit dehydrated (I held him in my hand and had a bowl in my other and he drank for about 3 minuts without stopping.) I set him up on paper towel in his old 10 gall(im currently getting ready to build a rack system) with one hide on the cold side and his humidity hide on the warm side and fresh water daily and spraying regularly as well. I think hes going to go into shed soon since he`s been "yawning" lately. Thanks to those who`ve helped me out with moral support and with tips and tricks. in this instance the tricks didnt work thanks to my run down old house but im sure they will work when i live in a better house :grin01: . I guess its safe to say i got what I wanted for christmas :santa: :D.

Wow. Congrats! No food since September? Do you think he found a rodent over that time? Did he eat for you since you found him?

i think he did since he hasnt lost weight at all. and yes he did eat for me :). his attitude hasnt changes at all too. still the same calm quinn i remember. Im leaving him alone for adleast week though
 
I also took my grad pics today and brought bender(my eldest corn) to take pictures with me :p
 
That's so cool that your school let you do that Camille! I'm glad you found your kid! Make sure you get a regular hide on the warm side too, so that he doesn't have to sit in the damp hide all the time.
 
yeah i know. theres just no place in the tiny 10 gal. If i can get to the city im going to buy some tubs so i can probably move him into one of those(latch tub for shure untill i get a lidless rack made
 
shure you can steal it :p i didnt name her :p. oh and a bit of news i just got my fourth corn 2 days ago hes awsome he`s an anery motley but he looks purple! :p. hes also het hypo ill get some pics up soon
 
Awww! Welcome home Tarquinn! I can just imagine how you felt holding him again and watching him drink water like that. I just had a nightmare that Shermy and Shermy escaped and I was heartbroken. Thank goodness it was only a bad dream.
