i recently moved into florida, and i was expecting to see snakes (i live near a lake). but all ive seen are lizards and frogs. i did see one snake, but it was run over.
has anyobdy else experienced this?

Most snakes hide during the day and are on the move in the evening. I hope someone on this forum who lives nearer to you can help.

From my understanding...DOR's are all too common in certain places at certain times of the year down there.

I have lived in Florida since 1972 and rarely see a snake unless I intnetionally go looking for them, and then I see plenty!

I'm on the other coast, we're coming up on mating season and you may start to see more snakes in the next month or so
