I like the broken patterning along his back - it makes him look very striking and special. Nice colours too!

He's got a really cool pattern! Does he have lots of hides?

Do you mean he's shy- like he isn't out in the open a lot, or like he's afraid when you handle him?

I'd make sure he has lots of hides and big vines to climb in- that way he can be out but not be exposed. Some people even put a long cardboard tube from the warm end to the cool end.

If he's afraid when you handle him, just be slow and gentle and consistant- make sure he is gently curled and has lots to hold onto or you can even cup him in two hands or in one hand with your fingers over him so he feels secure.

My guys mostly come out in the evening, except Maizey comes out whenever she knows we're home/awake. Anytime anyone is in the kitchen, she's out. Because she wants to be taken out!

Back when I had my snakes in glass it seemed that as hatchlings they hid about 100% of the time. Once they hit a year old or so I saw them out a lot more. One of my snakes seemed to love to have staring contests with me.

Beautiful normal you have! Don't be too alarmed by his shyness, just stick with him!

cheers do u no wot i should be feeding him now at the moment im feeding him 2 pinkys twice a week i think thats right but i thought id check while im being noobish
