Whew--do I feel relieved!! For a while now I've been worried that my little A.J. wasn't going to shed. For the past week her colors were really dull and waxy-looking, and on Wednesday I noticed her eyes were really cloudy, and she's been hiding under her shavings a lot. Well, today her colors are bright again and her eyes are perfectly clear. I don't see a shed skin anywhere--could it be under the shavings? I just saw in another post about this same thing--could she be shedding soon, too, or could the shed skin be under her shavings? Her appetite definitely didn't wane, though, she's eating those pinkies with a vengeance--LOL!!

They go back to normal colours just before they shed.

Expect it any day now!

My little girl is in shed right now, too. I always hate/love when they shed because I don't hold them during the process, but I do love to see the bright fresh colors once they're done.

They do go through a 'clear' phase right before they shed, so it should be very soon.
