Hi folks I have a fish tank here and I'm planning on upgrading my yearling corn to it :D
Only thing is it has a few relatively big holes in the lid..other than this the lid is very tight and secure.
Any tips on how to safely block the holes?
And the lid also has a built in UV light strip I could leave it off but I would love to keep it for viewing :D So any tips for DIY guards?

Pictures? Would make it easier to see what your dealing with inorder to give you the proper and helpful to yourself answer.

UV isn't recommended for Corns as they aren't a basking species. If it's light for your own viewing, folks here have had luck with LED lights as they give off very little heat and won't upset your carefully-controlled setup.

As for holes in the lid, I'd be looking for a proper reptile-proof one. I've used Blu-Tak for small holes in plastic Critter Keeper-type tanks, but anything bigger will always be an escape risk.
