I feel like i run a zoo!!
this is tango he is around 7-8 months old now when i got him i was told he is an amel corn but have been told since he is not an amel at all!!
can anyone tell me just what type of corn he really is????

ok so whats the differance between an amel an ultramel and a hypo :shrugs: ???? !!!!
 
i know that amel lack black pigment (melanin) hence the name amelanistic, hypo's do not lack black pigment but show little black and im not sure about ultramel

hey do you guys know how i will be able to tell if little pieces of old skin have retained on my baby corn cuz some already retained about halfway down and i think i got all of it off but i just want to know about the small pieces that might have broken off

i would think you would be able to see them but i dont know ive not had a problem with shedding hope somone else can help out more
 
It really is a bit difficult to determine exactly what morph Tango is. You say his eyes are red. More specifically, what is the color of his pupils? If it's black, he is probably either a hypo or a normal that just doesn't have alot of black. If the pupils are red/pink, then he is an amel. If the color is sort of half-way between black and red/pink, than he might actually be an ultramel. Here are some examples showing the eye and pupil color of a normal, a hypo, an amel and an ultramel. Hope they help.
