Lol, being a pet store purchase, Sssscorns hets are yet unknown, but Malice was purchased at the same place, so hopefully the two will give me a great mixed clutch :shrugs: maybe a little too hopeful to expect Blizzards though....

Man, if a film from the late '80s is """"obsolete"""", I'd be intrigued by your reaction to these even more """"obsolete"""" movies, selected simply off the top of my head:

  • Indiana Jones
  • Jaws
  • The Wizard of Oz
  • Star Wars
  • One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
  • Mary Poppins
  • Gone With The Wind
  • Lawrence of Arabia
  • Ferris Bueller's Day Off
  • Sunset Boulevard
  • Monty Python and The Holy Grail
  • Citizen Kane
  • The Godfather
  • Some Like It Hot
  • Singing In The Rain
  • Duck Soup
  • Dr. Strangelove
  • Annie Hall
  • The Great Dictator
Simply put, if it speaks to you, it's not obsolete; it will always be relevant.

Now, git off my lawn, ya punk. ;)

LOL you took the invitation... hehe :crazy02:

Starwars is one of my favorite series of movies and Cuckoo's nest is good! To be honest, I might be considered an 'Classic movies' noob.... I'm of the Hollywood big explosions and special effects generation... sorry ;)

But seriously, that orgasm in restaurant scene did not move my laughing muscles in the slightest way....

My favorite movie scenes are from Face/Off and the second Ace Ventura Pet detective movie, 2 of my favorite movies :)

HA! And I'd venture to say that every guy who saw that in the theater fell into the fantasy that he was the one responsible for her reactions.....which was the point of the whole scene to begin with.

But admittedly, it's a "guy's" scene. I'm curious as to what the "female equivalent" would be......

I'm guessing, "You had me at 'hello' ", or maybe one-third of "Titanic". ;)

I don't think it's just a 'guy scene', I know it's been re-enacted many times to general amusement by myself and my friends....... :sidestep: (but maybe that's just us)

Nice looking Amel Mike!

:puke01: :puke01: :puke01: I'm not into romantic oneliners at at all... cheap!

I prefer;

-'Hey Sean, how's your dead son?'

- Peaches... I can eat peaches for hours...

-Hello, Doctor. I hope you don't mind: I took a few of your groovy painkillers. I'm just enjoying some of your greatest hits here. Oh God, this is excellent. Oh, bravo. Bra-****ing-vo.

- I hate to see you go, but I LOVE to watch you leave. Though this one is a bit cheap too... but Travolta can handle it..hehe

And I can go on and on form that movie... shall we leave this topic and do a thread on movie qoutes? :grin01:

Excuse us for hijacking this thread sofar....
