I jus got my first snake, a little snow named Kali, and she is the most adorable thing i have ever seen! I'm going to go nuts waiting the three days to handle her, cuz I barely ever see her (hiding under the paper towel in her viv). I cant think of anything else to do except post here, and i think ive read all the posts now, just from sheer boredom.

I know it's hard, but hang in there. Right now that settling in period is the best present you can give your snake.
 
i know exactly how you feel. i just got my little amel yesturday. he scared me this morning when i woke up. i couldn't find him anywhere, but when i lifted up his water dish, he was all curled up. i can't wait till the "3 day wait" is over!
 
Aye I hear ya I got my hatchling yesterday also, however I got one of those black rept lights and watch her from a distance checking out her cage. :)
