I'm such a sucker for anything red (new gecko)

I put the 'pygmy' in ban.
I needed to go to Wally World today for some small items, and once I finished up there I decided to see if they had any collars on sale at Petco.

Since they do sell reptiles, and being the nosey person I am, I always go and see what they've got. And, since I'm such a sucker for red, this little one came home with me.

I just couldn't pass him/her up! I think it's about four or five months old, because it's about as big as a few of my other babies that are around that age.

And I'm sorry for the fuzzyness of a few of the pictures, but I'm too tired to mess with them. :)

Thanks for looking!

Those guys just look so comical. It's hard to picture them "in the wild".

Yeah, they belong in the "looks like a cartoon, but it's a real animal" section. :)

Awww... Hana, that little crestie is absolutely adorable. I wouldn't have been able to resist buying him/her either. Beautiful color... I just happen to love red too. :D

I posted a comment on another one of your threads about this Awesome looking red patternless crested. LOL. It really is an awesome find at a Petco! Most cresteds at the Petcos or PetSmarts that I've been to are brown/dark hareliquins. I've been able to find some very nice looking cresteds at Petco, but I haven't seen a red patternless, yet. When I do, it'll be mine! LOL! :)

What a cutie, Hana! Cresties are just sickeningly cute! If I didn't already have a houseful of snakes, I'd probably end up with a houseful of Cresties! :crazy02:

Hope SHE stays a she for you!!!!

Thank you for the comments. :)
I love the dark hareliquins, especially when they're a dark ground color with orange markings. Most of the cresties in the shops around here are just plain olives.

Thank you! I sure hope so too! But if she turns into a 'he' you may be up a crestie before you know it. ;) heh

Gorgeous crested! Congratulations!
Thank you! I'm pretty thrilled myself, considering I wouldn't be able to afford one of these off a breeders website. :)

I'll have to get some shots of her day time color for you all. It's amazing the change. If she hadn't been a little 'fired up' when I saw her, I might not have noticed her behind the plant. :)

I always look at the cresties at my petco, they are just too cute. I dont have any but I dont doubt that I will get one or two in the future. I love that red. I dont know anything about crestie morphs, but SHE is beautiful! ;)

I know zip about geckos, but she is cute. Do they ever play 'bat' (hang upside down) with their sticky-toes?

... oh, great ... now, I'm developing a foot fetish for geckos! :eek1:
