My names Lisamarie, I am a new corn snake mommy. Shes a little over 2 months old and is a amul normal. I love this website and think its more helpful then some of the books ive read. I skydive for fun, but actually have been enjoying learning about Streamer more lately. I know that corns arent considered high maintence but I do spent a lot of time just looking at her....

Hello and Welcome to the Forums!!! So you skydive, thats pretty cool. I look forward to talking to you later.

Only 105??? Ohh my gosh i have well lets see umm 0!!! :grin01: I dont consider 105 jumps a baby. ;) Well anyway thats pretty cool. So you have an amel corn I love those. Love too see a pick if you can post one.

Well skydiving is like anything, the more you learn the more you realize you know nothing. The people I jump with have anywhere between 500 and 10,000 jumps... so yuppers a baby.

I might be wrong on streamer, its amel or amul. Which ever is the one without black. I posted in the genetics threads to find out but I have to go re-read as I havent had time to do search's on the type I was told she is (which shes really a he but I just found that out tonight, i just thought he was a girl).

I must say if I had a few grand Id be out buying more snakes and more enclosures. Im new at this so know so little, but I love that there is just so much to learn about this species. Im highly intruiqued. This was taken with my camera phone. Here orange is more neon and the pink as well but thats so hard to tell with the quality. She also has started turning purpleish (blue stage) and even more off color then when I first got her. Which isnt fair cause I want to hold her... but cant

Yes it is called an amel, Which is short from amelanistic.(It is somethimes called albinos in petstores though) Accually Im not sure that your snake is an amel. It looks more like an albino okeetee or reverse okeetee. (Not sure which is which). It might just be the light though. Maybe you should post that in the photo forum and ask what it is. But anyway nice snake.

Once he sheds Im gonna have a friend come over and take better pictures. The ones I have do not do him justice at all. His colors are much brighter and he has two black spots on his belly. He is still in that shedding thing but hes wild today, hes everywhere, hanging on leaves, climbing around the top ledge, just active as can be.
