Introducing myself, and "Sixx"

Hi everyone! I'm new here, and live in central Indiana. Just brought my first Corn Snake home today. His? Her? name is "Sixx", and is a motley.

I've had pets all my life but this is my first snake. I've been curious about owning a snake for years, and here I am 39 yrs old and taking the leap! Glad to have a resource like this forum to continue my learning and seek assistance when needed.

I handled him only long enough to get a quick picture and a weight for baseline reference, then quickly got him to his habitat. I'm really looking forward to being able to start interacting with him after I'm certain he's settled and will keep feeding well.

haha, exactly, Joba! :) ... we'll see how this one goes as our first snake before I approach my husband about completing the band.

He is beautiful!! I think you will love the way he develops, my motley boy looked similar as a baby. Congrats and we look forward to more pictures once he's settled in!

Thanks, everyone! Yes, Luna work as well. :)

@ AliCat37 - Is there a pic of your motley boy in your "My Reptiles" album? Is that the one named Owl? You've got very beautiful snakes, but I think I'm kind of partial to that picture of Jello!
