Introducing...Phoenix, the amel!

Hi there!
I figured I'd better introduce Phoenix, since I have already asked questions about her! Our family has fallen in love with reptiles since we got our beardie in September. My older daughter used to want to be an animal rescuer...now she only wants to rescue reptiles! :) She has been asking to add a snake to the family. We did our research and went to Repticon in Ennis, TX. Well, that was it. We held a BUNCH of different snakes (and other lovelies) and we knew it was only a matter of time. A few days later, there was a pretty amel on CL (our beardie is also a CL "rescue"). We went to check her out and we all fell in love with her!
We were told she was a year old, but based on her length and weight (32" and 127g) we are guessing that she is actually at least 2...but I don't know for sure.
I'm going to try to post some pics now:

And the reptile that started it all, Fafnir:

Thanks! Poor dude was in a 10 gal when we got him!! A 10 gal for an 18 inch long beardie! Awful! We built him this one pronto. That picture is from his first day in his new viv. He's much happier...and fatter! ;)
I've customized Phoenix's tank to an extent, but I still need to explore some more DIY viv's...so she won't be jealous of Faf. ;)

Phoenix is a cute one! And your beardies viv is cool. The backdrop is some trippy creativity. It took me a second to realize the mountains(?) were the actual wood of the viv, and only the sky was a backdrop. Leads to an amazing look. Wish I could make stuff that cool.

Yep, you nailed it! Mountains! We got Faf after a trip to Colorado, do the mountains were on our minds.
