Oh, my I like her! What is that color morph, sorry still learning.

im hoping someone here can help with that as the guy i got her from said she was a bit of a mutt !!!!!
i think an amel but if anyone can say different then please do !

The broad white outlines make me think she might be a reverse okeetee, which is an amel.

My initial thought was that she was a creamsicle - which would be a cross between a corn snake and a rat snake (Pantherophis guttatus x Pantherophis emoryi).

I'm still relatively new to corn snakes so see what others think. Eitherway, she's beautiful :)

Very pretty girl! And yes that is an Amel. Reverse okeetees have thicker white bands these are not thick enough. :)

Yes, it is an Amel.
BUT just how thick do the borders have to be to qualify, as an RO?
2MM?
3MM?
4MM?
8MM?
:poke:

If she was sold as a "mutt" then it is safe to
assume that there is more then just Corn blood,
coursing through her veins. Due to color, and
pattern, I would call her a Reverse Okeetee Creamsicle:nyah:

Reverse Okeetee's typically have extremely wide white borders along the entire length of the snake, not just down on the tail. And one person's mutt might just mean that she's plain ol' red albino cornsnake (amel) and there's nothing fancy in her breeding. It doesn't signify hybrid blood. I would say you have a very nice amel. Nothing more, nothing less.

thanks for all the coments guys im glad you like her
her is the two together so you can see the diff

beautiful

i had a 2nd and 3rd look as she looks very much like my creamsicle the head is ienticle, a beautifl looking gal i have to say

I'd say amel. Adorable pics though.

I take it you figured out your 'housing arrangements?'

She's definitely an amel, just not a Reverse Okeetee.

Do you know if your other snake is het amel?

Here is a Reverse Okeetee, from Don Soderberg, South Mountain Reptiles.

Huh?? Look at that it doesn't have
wide borders toward the head either,
What's up with that??!! :shrugs: :laugh01:

Just out of curiousity, how old is Cherry, approximately?
She is very pretty, congratulations!!
