Hello all! Not sure if I am posting this in the right area...but here goes!

I live in NE Iowa and am wondering if anyone happens to know of any reptile/snakes shows and such that take place in Iowa/Minnesota...or maybe even SW Wisconsin/NW Illinois. :shrugs:

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

There is a reptile show in Des Moines every year in august sometime that i attend every year. There is also a show in Chicago. But, I bet you would prefer to drive to des moines. There are a couple big vendors for corns who come if thats what you are looking for. Hopefully I will even have a booth this year. ;)

I know some people who vend there with pythons, they used to provide rats to me before there feeder operation tanked. (to many snakes not enough rats/mice) If you are looking for a big one, go to chicago. They might have one in Madison or the twin cities but I have never heard of one there.

thank you all for the information! I will definitely be checking out the Des Moines one, but am considering the Chicago one as well! Since I was born around there...it'll be nice to "go home" for a weekend!!

and eli, the link rick posted, (which is the official website of the show, not the herp society) has already listed the date for the 09 show. For anyone who is going, see ya there!! :) I may have a booth, to :)

Thanks for making that clear, I was in a hurry and didn't see Rick's post. I never knew there was an official websight for the Des Moines show but it in my favorites now. :)
