As title, if you could give me only one piece of advice concerning the husbandry of this snake what would it be. Looking forward to reading your answers as i will be getting a baby soon.

My one piece of advice would be get to know snakewispera, or NWheather, or any person who has some experience with that species and see if they would be willling to kind of mentor you.
 
Any one piece is too small a picture. Short and sweet, though...

- Make sure your tank is secure. Corns are escape artists.
- Give your snake a temp gradient of about 70 to 85. Do not have any place in the tank hotter than 85 even under the substrate or at the top.
- At least two hides, one at each end of the temp gradient.
- A dish of water.
- Keep it clean.

It's not really very hard. Part of the reason we keep snakes (beside that we adore them) is they are so easy. :)
 
Irian Jaya is a carpet python. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I don't know anything about them except my brother is law has one that I am currently giving shots to because he is sick.
