My uncle came over so I took my corn out of his cage for about five minutes to show my uncle. Would it be okay if I handled him later today again, or should I wait until tomorrow to take him out again?
it's not that bad, but if you does'nt need to pick him up for feeding or something like that, you better leave them in the cage. they don't like being picked up. they will get used to it but will never like it. a snake is still a wild animal and you are a big predator for him/her.
We hold our Jaxson at least once a day as long as he doesn't have a full belly. He used to freak and try to hide, but now he just surrenders and is getting quite calm with the regular handling. If he were truely stressed he'd give you a nip or two so relax and handle away just make sure it is always 2-3 days after a feeding.
