Is it normal?

Is it normal for a snakes head to look smaller in proportion to the rest of its body? Pop (74).jpg

I can't find the post that I have in mind right now.
But I think I read something about snakes having a smaller head
due to the fact that they get well fed in captivity.
And the body grows "faster" than the head.

Or I can be wrong and there is no post.
If so, sorry bout that.

I agree with Maize. She looks fine.
If the body is toooo big for the head, this could be a sign of overfeeding.

I think what you want to look out for is the shape of the body rather than the size. You want to see the loaf type shape - if the snake is too "round" it may be a sign that it is getting a little heavy, and if the spine is really pronounced and visible then it may be underweight.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
