Is it normal to hold a snake one day. He is not in the blue what so ever. The next day he has shed. But rafeal is about 14 inches and 6 grams. But can anyone tell me there thoughts.
 
How long have you had your snake? There is a process that they go through. Their skin turns a all dull and milky and their eyes cloud over. We call that going "blue". This last a couple of days and the goes away, then they shed.

It could be that your snake was blue before you got it... could that be??

if he is an amel, than it is harder to tell when they are in blue, they just get kind of pink, so that could be why you didnt know he was about to shed. it doesnt sound like anything you did. i dont think thats possible :/
 
Thank you. And I had him over a month. He never showed a sign he was going to shed and I have him out for like 10 mins every day I can. he is very active and curios. When he is out so I dont think he is hurt in anyway. He eats very well but he dont constrict. I think s/he is to long to do that to pinkies.

There is pics of him in the photo gallery. I asked what morph s/he is and they told me a hypo caramel. But his eyes were always as black as onyx with a gleam.
 
I just kinda find it weird. So I thought I would ask. But if he is healthy and active then let things lay where they are I guess
