Is she Hungry?

My snow corn (Cynder) that I got about a week ago now has been VERY active...
I fed her 4 days ago and even after I fed her she seemed to be looking for more food. She's been going around her tank like she's searching for something, and I can't help but feel as though she is hungry or something. I only gave her a smallish pinkie for her first feeding (since it was her first feeding and I wasn't sure how she would take it) so is it possible that she is hungry and searching? Should I feed her? I normally feed mine every 5 days, so should I just wait until tomorrow? None of my other corns act like this, usually when they eat they curl up and chill for a day, but not her. Should I offer her a small pinkie?

What do you guys think?

Eeek, I really don't want her to get sick. Do you think maybe next time I feed her I can try two smal pinkies? She's about 4 months old.

I really can't judge that, because I haven't seen her in person. You can try giving her a bit bigger pinky, or a peach fuzzy. It really all depends on how YOU feel about it. If the meal looks too big, it probably is.

If you've only had her a week, then she'll still be settling in and her behaviour won't necessarily be what you'd expect.

In the wild, if they came across one baby mouse, they'd expect to find a whole nest of them and would probably try eating more. Her instincts were probably just telling her to keep looking after she'd eaten.

In the wild, they're never guaranteed their next meal so they'll try and eat everything they can. In captivity, they don't realise that their next meal IS guaranteed, so they'll sometimes continue to hunt for more after eating.

I'd advise hardening your heart and sticking to one pinkie every 4-5 days for the next few meals. You don't want to stress her digestion while she's still settling in. Maybe try her with two pinkies at a time in the New Year.
