Is there a color/morph chart for dummies?

Im not as keen on the morphs as most, and was curious if there was just a simple dummy chart, not pictures of a bunch of snakes, just the basic paterns.....maybe with a short description of WHY it is that morph, and perhaps what makes it that specific morph.

If this isnt yet made could someone well versed perhaps toss it together, just like a 1 inch by 3 inch long picture of just the length of the snake. And able to view numerous at one time instead of having to click on multiple links/pictures.

Am I babbling or is someone getting what Im saying?

Interesting concept. You can find myriads of morph pages on the web, but 99% of the time, you do need to click from one morph to the next or to see more than a thumbnail photo. There are very few where you can actually try to compare one morph to another. But as long as you realize that you will still have to scroll down the page to see all the morphs, I can try to create something on my website. Plus, I won't be able to do every morph as I just don't have them all in my collection to photograph. And personally, the pics of just a section of the snakes body, as in the Cornsnake Morph Guide, just doesn't seem enough to get a good idea of what the morph looks like. Maybe I can do both...small body section close-up as well as a whole body pic. Now to find the time...

I'm working on one right now for proherper.com & faunaclassifieds.com. If anyone would like to submit there morphs, I'd be all to happy to credit the individual who submits them. I am doing close up & full body shots (hatchlings compared to adult as well). The plan as it stands now is splitting them up by single/double/triple etc.

I'm going to start a new thread for photos...

Maybe something like this?

Awesome chart! It does have a bit of an error. Zigzag and aztec are not a variety of motley, not even remotely connected genetically. They should have their own box in pattern varieties.

And Anery C/Morph Z/Cinder is confirmed to be simple recessive and separate from Anery A and Charcoal. :)

Not to be nitpicky myself, but I believe Granite is being used with more regularity than Pepper. I believe you can also add Pied Side to the Bloodred strand.

PS. For the original poster, I have a basic chart set up at my site. It's nowhere near complete, nor as fancy as what you may be looking for, but you can open up individual pics to do some comparing. www.dakotacorns.com/CornMorphs.html
