Is there anything quite so sad looking...

Wilder

Y HALO THAR
... as a little snake about to shed? Narya looks so darn sad in the pictures I took of her last night. Didn't handle her at all, just snapped them while she lay there in her viv, looking very sorry for herself... ;)

They do seem pathetic...

before they shed. Mine go into hiding and hate to be bothered. I have one neonate that can't shed for beans, and I go through a bonding ceremony where I wet my fingers and peel her from head to toe. She loves it, she weaves in and out of my fingers, rubbing and rubbing! If she were a cat, she'd be purring.

OOh I've done that with some of my hatchlings and it's really lovely to do. I agree that they definitely seem to enjoy it.
