Is this a Butter?

Hi
I've had Asali for a couple of weeks now and the petshop said he was a butter, but on looking at other butters that I've seen here, he doesn't look the same. Do you think he is a butter, or something else? He's between 4 and 5 months old now, and I know the colours change as they get older, but I couldn't find a picture of a young one to check against :(
Thanks for your help
Kate

That looks like a butter to me! Butters start off as a light brown and then turn more yellow as they get older.

Thanks Joanna, I was hoping that he was a butter as I am looking forward to seeing the yellow developing as he gets older. In looking around to find something to compare him with I came across a couple of butter stripes, that is the next on my list!!

Thanks for your help

Kate

Yep, that is absolutely, 100% a butter!!! lol Gorgeous little guy too! He'll start getting his proper yellows when he's a bit older, mine started getting noticeably yellower at about 6months old. :)
