I bought this little thing at PETCO without hesitation about 3 months ago. It was really lucky day. You know, PETCO usually carries just normal, amel, snow, anery, hypo morph like very common.
Anyway, I want to know this is pastel or hybrid??? I really don`t regret that I`ve spent around $40.00 for this little cute thing.

Does it have belly checkers? It looks like a ghost to me. I would guess if it was at Petco it was just labeled as a "fancy corn" or something like that.

It is motley so belly is complete clean as white. There was no yellow color under neck area and it was just look as ghost motley when I saw it first at PETCO. However, after couple of shedding, its color is, I`ve never expected.

Pastel, so you're a Ball Python person? lol Looks like a Ghost (anery, hypo) possibly motley. Wholesalers rarely label corns with their genetics because they buy them in large lot sizes. They sell anything that is not the normal corn coloration as fancy. I sell my wholesale animals in cups with their genetics on the label and the wholesaler still lists them on his sale sheets as fancy!

Lovely ghost motley, you have there for a nice price! It's neck pattern would make me suspicious of it carrying the sunkissed gene.

So I'm not the only one that has noticed that particular characteristic of many het Sunkissed! Unfortunately, I proved that "het marker" to be like the others...not a guarantee...by hatching out several hatchlings with that neck pattern that I know for a fact to NOT be het Sunkissed, as well as known het Sunkissed hatchlings without it.

But in any case, lovely peachy ghost motley, which many will call a pastel motley, so being a BP person may not have anything to do with the OP's word choice. ;)

Looks ghostly to me :p

It still looks like a little worm so it's colors will probably change as it gets older. Wonder what it will look like in the future?

i am pretty new to corns and i have also heard people call pink ghosts "pastels"...i just cringe when i hear the word "ball pythons". just not a fan at all. i bred them for a while and they just suck in my opinion...boring, dont move, DONT EAT....the list goes on. dont mean to offend anyone, just dont like balls

:( that makes me sad... I love my ball! He is really active at night and eats like a champ. Maybe Im just lucky!! I hope to stay that way then!

im glad you like your ball! really! i just had very poor luck with them when i bred them. they just were always on and off feed...that was my issue. and they didnt do much for me. my best friend still breeds them and has some insane looking ones, but they just dont do it for me. ALOT of people love them, and im happy for them! now i feel really bad for saying that in my last post:smash:....i really like the looks of the mystic potions he produced, but i just like other snakes better. when i lived at my old house i bred my own rats in my barn, my new house does not have a seperate buildong so i wont breed rats in my house....i was thawing 150 rodents out(a week!) and ended up throwing almost half of them out...that is why i am not a ball fan anymore. (they always wanted live)and if yours goes off feed and refuses to eat for any lenght of time, DONT WORRY! as long as no husbandry has not changed, your snake will be fine, ALL BALL PYTHONS do this. it is frustrating, but thats how they are. and i am seriously sorry if i upset you:bowdown:

Its all good Rick I have done my research and I am well aware of what a**hats they can be...lol I will deff get more corns before I get more balls!

gungirl, i got quite a few from tom thompson, he has some killer stuff...go to his iherp page and see what he may have available if your in the market...and i like(oen a bunch) of guns too, do you shoot?

I'm actually looking into getting a GTP before I add anything else to my snake family. I am in love with them right now!!!

I do Shoot as often as I can. My fiancée has his F.F.L. and his own business so I get almost whatever I want within reason! :)
