Is this normal?

I found my baby in his water dish curled up in a ball. He has never done that before. It is very damp out and it is not hot. He seems quite relaxed in there. I just wanted to know if this is normal.

Yes this is perfectly normal. Some snakes like to soak and others don't. Check him for mites just as a precaution, but if you don't find any, then you just have a soaker.

Sure, it's fairly common for snakes to soak in their water. Sometimes it is a sign of a coming shed. And lots of snakes like to relieve themselves in their water. Don't worry. :)
