Is this substrate OK for my cornsnake?

Hi, I am very allergic to aspen, so aspen is NOT an option. I know cornsnakes love to burrow so I bought some substrate which the snake can burrow in very easily, he seems to love it. I am new to snakes and have owned him for about 4 days now.

This is the substrate that I bought: "Vitakraft Eco Bedding" http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12818369

So anybody with great knowledge of corns could you please help me out? Petsmarts reptile people said it would be perfectly fine, but I'd like to hear your opinions too.

Thanks

Should definitely be fine. Doesn't seem much different than using newsprint or paper pellets. Could possibly get a bit mushy when it get's wet but I can't confirm or invalidate that.

Too bad your allergic to Aspen... if all else fails, my corn spent close to 10 years on carpet, so this stuff should be fine!
