Is this why my corn regurgitated?

Well last Friday I woke up to find both pinkies I fed to my corn regurgitated in the corner of his cage. I’ve been worried about my little snake all weekend stressing over everything from correct surface temperatures and ambient air temps… Since my snake has regurgitated he just went under the paper towel hasn’t come out. Well it has been 4 days since his regurge and I decided it was necessary to lift up the paper towel and see if my snake was even alive (I got him from petco, so I was expecting the worst). Anyways he looks like he has gone into shed mode. His ruby red albino eyes are now clouded over and his patterning seems cloudy as well. Have I been stressing over nothing? Did my snake just regurgitate because he was about to shed? Should I offer him food as soon as he sheds? Do growing baby snakes change significantly (in color) after each shed?

Thanks in advance,
Mike.

I've never heard shedding might be a cause of regurg. I did hear it might be a reason for not accepting food.

Everyone tells me that they snakes are very hungry after they shed. Thats what it took for my baby snow to eat her first meal. But I also read that it takes up to 2 weeks for snakes to reproduce the juices lost during regurge and that you should wait at least 7-10 days before attempting to feed again. Especially in younger snakes too many regurges (I read 3) can kill your snake.
I'd rather be safe than sorry, but by the time the snake is done shedding, and if you don't suspect any other reason for it to regurge, then everything should be ok.
My baby snowcorn didn't really change color after she shed. She just got a little pinker.

Hope this helps.

I definitely second waiting 10 days to feed another pinkie. Since you were feeding 2 pinkies per feeding, only feed one next time, just to make it easier to digest.

And as far as how many times it takes a snake regurgitating before it will die, I don't think there is a set number. It depends on the snake. I had a hatching that regurged once, fed fine the next feeding, then regurged the third feeding and went downhill from then on.

There is a possibility that he regurged because he was entering shed mode and his body had a conflict of interest. Wait the full 10 days to be safest, regardless of how soon he sheds. And, as Amanda says - only offer 1 pinkie next time to ease him back into eating gently,
