beautiful. dumeirls have some of the best natural patterning out of any non venomous snake in my opinion. for me its a tie between dums and madagascar ground boas. somewhat similar but i love them. theyre on the list for when i figure out a rack i want to build to house juvenile to adult male boas.

LOL the dumeril's are ground boas from madagascar. They have a great temperament too. =) Mine is a big sweetheart.

i know they are. but theres another "subspecies?" (dont know if thats the word). dumerils and madagascars. or thats how i perceived it if im wrong. either way beautiful.
 
I love them! It's on my want list. I need to make a nice big enclosure for my RTB, then I'll be on the look out for a dum at some point.

Yes you are correct. I looked it up. Even though the Dumeril's is a ground boa from Madagascar there is another boa who's name is "Madagascar Ground Boa." Scientific name (Acrantophis madagascariensis). Where as the scientific name for the Dumeril's is (Acrantophis dumerili). These two boas look EXTREMELY similar. However the Madagascar ground boa is the largest boa in Madagascar with the females around 10ft.
